Another friendly reminder that Phi Gamma Delta will be holding our annual Frank Norris Pig Dinner at Langdon Farms on May 13th, starting at 5pm.

The first two hours will include an open bar free for graduate brothers! At 7pm a buffet style dinner will be served, as well as a roasted pig. We have the event space until 10pm where everyone is encouraged to stay and hangout.

Throughout and after dinner, we will go through our traditions and customs that remind us why Phi Gamma Delta stands for "Not For College Days Alone."

Feel free to schedule a tee time through the Langdon Farms website before the event starts.

Please RSVP to the event! It will greatly help us with budgeting and expectations.

If you have already RSVP'd no need to again.

Hope to see everyone there!

P!

Frank Norris Annual Pig Dinner

Norris Pig Dinner is the most widely observed and longest continually running, chapter-based, annual graduate event in the Greek world. It started in 1893 at UC Berkeley when a squealing pig came tumbling out of a barrel and was caught by several Fijis. Frank Norris then staged an elaborate ceremony, and that night they cooked the pig for everyone to eat.

On the left we have a current undergraduate, John Espiritu, finishing the Persistence Cup at the most recent Pig Dinner as he is the youngest in the Class of 2022’. On the right is Mike Easton, Class of 1987’, drinking from the same cup. The tradition of Pig Dinner helps align us with the values of Phi Gamma Delta and proves that we are not for college days alone. We may not have had access to our long-standing tradition in the last year but its legacy will continue to live on.
